The Clayton Engineering Company is proud to work w The Clayton Engineering Company is proud to work with Dierbergs Markets and PARIC Corporation to provide civil engineering and surveying services during the development, design and construction of the new Dierbergs Crestwood. The 24.5 acre part of the 47 overall acre development will be the home of the new Dierbergs Crestwood store, with multiple other retail buildings totaling about 106,500 square feet. There are future outlots available for other developments on the property. The phases include an interim site development and the final construction phase. Clayton Engineering is providing consultant engineering services as well as coordination with the sewer district and other agencies during the development of the site. We are also providing survey control, construction staking and final as-built drawings for all phases of the project for the owner and contractors. Our survey crews were on site this week for early grade staking and control checks as Bloomsdale Excavating began the grading.

Project Spotlight - Aviator Business Park 2, 5 & 6 Project Spotlight - Aviator Business Park 2, 5 & 6: Since 2007, Clayton Engineering has been working on the civil engineering and surveying for the development of Aviator Business Park. This time around, buildings on Lot 2, 5 and 6 are in construction. These buildings total over 600,000 square feet, comprised of 3 separate properties. They are state of the art with the civil and storm water improvements, and site upgrades. Construction completion is expected in 2022. Clayton Engineering provides the Boundary Surveying, Platting and subdivision work, Civil development plan and construction plans for each of these properties, as well as the construction staking.
2021 Project Spotlight: A & S Railway Yard Entranc 2021 Project Spotlight: A & S Railway Yard Entrance Replacement At the Alton & Southern Railway project, a sinkhole damaged the main entrance to the yard due to a failed storm water drainage system. The Clayton Engineering Company provided the existing conditions topographic survey of all entrance roads, utilities and overhead rail bridges, to be left alone. We also provided all demo, utility, construction calculations and staking as the project surveyor. Our crews, who are typically certified with OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR training, also gained the eRailsafe clearances necessary to work on this project. When the project was complete, we provided the final topographic and As-Built survey back to our client. #surveying #Railyard #construction #Claytonengineering #unionpacific
