Services

Clayton Engineering was established in 1926 as a surveying firm. Today we employ professional engineers and surveyors, technicians, drafters and support personnel, enabling us to provide complete Land Surveying, Development Planning and Civil Engineering services. Our principal area of operation is Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois although we do have professional licenses in multiple states, and occasionally work together with clients and contractors in locations outside of the St. Louis region.

Our personnel have extensive experience. The current Principal has been with the firm for over 30 years, providing continuity of management. Our staff of 35 includes several Professionally Licensed Civil Engineers; most of whom have registrations in multiple states. Our survey department also has Professionally Licensed Land Surveyors, using the newest field processing software. Our survey crews are equipped with technically innovative field data collectors, total stations and GPS receivers which ensures that the field to office process is as streamlined as possible.

All of our personnel are using the latest released versions of AutoCAD products as well as Trimble office processing software, combined with several other specialty software packages that help to give Clayton Engineering a competitive edge over other firms for certain aspects of specific projects.
