Civil Engineer

We are hiring a full-time Civil Engineer for a design engineer role.  Responsibilities include:

  • Create and oversee the design of civil engineering of civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with Clients, Architects, and Engineers as a part of the project design team.
  • Project management and budgeting, proposal preparation, and familiarity with St. Louis area communities’ and MSD submittal procedures are a bonus and/or be willing to learn these skills.

Requirements:

  • Candidate to be a Missouri Licensed Professional Engineer or someone within 6 months or less of taking the licensure exam.
  • Stormwater hydraulics and hydrology design experience.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D capable.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Products or other Survey Software, Microsoft Office, etc.) and field equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are paramount.

Survey Instrument Operator

This is an opportunity to work on a on a survey crew full time at a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm in Maryland Heights, MO.

We are seeking a motivated and career driven individual who is familiar with Trimble data collectors, total stations and GPS/GNSS equipment. This individual should have experience with property boundary, topographic surveying and construction staking.

Administrative Bookkeeper

We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill an Administrative Bookkeeper role.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of bookkeeping experience.
  • High school diploma.
  • Prior experience as an office/admin assistant or in a related field.
  • Ability to write clearly and help with word/excel processing when necessary.
  • Warm personality, strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision, and practice self-initiative.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Duties & Responsibilities which include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer phones courteously, taking and delivering messages.
  • Welcoming visitors to our office by walking the guest to their appointment and providing refreshments.
  • Responsible for Postage and Delivery: incoming and outgoing mail or packages. Sign for FedEx/UPS packages; delivery and drop-off of packages at FedEx/UPS locations; schedule package pick-up/delivery via courier; Process outgoing mail including creating labels and preparation of envelopes. Distribute mail within the office.
  • Keep office supplies inventory and order new materials as needed.
  • Manage filing systems and document storage warehouse.
  • Label file storage boxes. Move archive documents (6 months+) from office cabinets into warehouse storage.
  • Create labels for annual binders (end of year activities, due in December).
  • Help organize and maintain office common areas and break room, clean surfaces including: Coffee machines, toaster, microwave and refrigerator.
  • Provide support to the Accounting Manager: data/information entry into databases and Deltek Ajera.
  • Process in-house expenses: Printing (weekly), postage and delivery expenses. Entry of delivery and gas expenses into Ajera. Scan and attach documents to Ajera. Notify Project Managers of payments.
