Project Spotlight - Aviator Business Park 2, 5 & 6 Project Spotlight - Aviator Business Park 2, 5 & 6: Since 2007, Clayton Engineering has been working on the civil engineering and surveying for the development of Aviator Business Park. This time around, buildings on Lot 2, 5 and 6 are in construction. These buildings total over 600,000 square feet, comprised of 3 separate properties. They are state of the art with the civil and storm water improvements, and site upgrades. Construction completion is expected in 2022. Clayton Engineering provides the Boundary Surveying, Platting and subdivision work, Civil development plan and construction plans for each of these properties, as well as the construction staking.
2021 Project Spotlight: Boeing Tract 5 Final Measu 2021 Project Spotlight: Boeing Tract 5 Final Measurement Survey The Clayton Engineering Company, Inc. was contracted to provide a thorough survey of +/-220 acres at the Tract 5 Missile Expansion Project in St. Charles, MO. This survey included locations of all fencing, new construction, utilities, perimeter roadways, facilities and sub-surface building measurements. A large portion of this scope was to compile and verify decades of surveying by Clayton Engineering and other companies on this property to include coordinates on structures around the property. Occasionally, we worked with escorts to secure access to the areas that needed to be surveyed, in addition to badges issued to field crews working on site. A large portion of the property was also surveyed topographically, with sketches and measured by hand. The site had many restrictions, but with regular meetings with the client and other parties involved we were successful in providing a very useful and information packed survey for our client to use. We continue to try hard to achieve the quality of surveys that Boeing and our other clients need, full of information that will be useful for a long time into the future. #Boeing #Surveying #construction
2021 Project Spotlight: A & S Railway Yard Entranc 2021 Project Spotlight: A & S Railway Yard Entrance Replacement At the Alton & Southern Railway project, a sinkhole damaged the main entrance to the yard due to a failed storm water drainage system. The Clayton Engineering Company provided the existing conditions topographic survey of all entrance roads, utilities and overhead rail bridges, to be left alone. We also provided all demo, utility, construction calculations and staking as the project surveyor. Our crews, who are typically certified with OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR training, also gained the eRailsafe clearances necessary to work on this project. When the project was complete, we provided the final topographic and As-Built survey back to our client. #surveying #Railyard #construction #Claytonengineering #unionpacific
2021 Project Spotlight: Anheuser-Busch, inc. Seltz 2021 Project Spotlight: Anheuser-Busch, inc. Seltzer Processes The Clayton Engineering Survey group has been working on multiple projects around the Anheuser-Busch, Inc. brewery for over a year now. We have provided very detailed industrial topographic and control surveys for use with design-build portions of these projects where critical match existing points cannot be missed. We provide construction staking sometimes multiple times a week for civil improvements as well as columns, bolts, and high precision utilities. Clayton Engineering has provided civil engineering review when asked, as well as determined elevations for unique site areas throughout this work. We have worked with multiple trades throughout the construction of the new Seltzer Process building and connecting overhead rack & piping systems. We surveyed faces of walls, openings, steel, utilities and underground for this project. We were also able to research back into our historic records to use 50+ year old survey information for new construction underground possible conflicts. We were happy to provide our records to AB as well, and glad to be a part of these facility expansion projects. #surveying #AnheuserBusch #construction #Claytonengineering #projectsurveyor
