Clayton Engineering worked with three property owners to divide nearly 200 acres into a new 5 acre lot for a residential development and a larger private tract to include a new lake. We worked with Franklin County to have the new subdivision plat recorded prior to the closing. The future owners were able to choose the direction to face the house and we incorporated that into our plan. We provided the site plan, residential septic system plan and set the elevations based on the surrounding grades and desired site. We also worked with the property owners using lidar information in combination with ground topographic surveying to plan for the location of the future lake dam. Lastly, we provided the construction staking for the new home when the site was ready.
