A & S Railway Yard Entrance Replacement

At the Alton & Southern Railway project, a sinkhole damaged the main entrance to the yard due to a failed storm water drainage system. The Clayton Engineering Company provided the existing conditions topographic survey of all entrance roads, utilities and overhead rail bridges, to be left alone. We also provided all demo, utility, construction calculations and staking as the project surveyor. Our crews, who are typically certified with OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR training, also gained the eRailsafe clearances necessary to work on this project. When the project was complete, we provided the final topographic and As-Built survey back to our client.
